Pakistani physiotherapist is eligible to work as a physiotherapist in Ireland.
To work as a physiotherapist in Ireland, a Pakistani national must be registered with CORU (the Health and Social Care Professionals Council of Ireland). Here is details of this process:

1. Qualification Recognition:

Apply for Recognition: If your physiotherapy qualification was obtained outside of Ireland, you must first apply to CORU for recognition of your qualification. This involves submitting detailed information about your education, including curriculum details, placements, and employment history.

Assessment: CORU will assess your qualifications against the standards of proficiency required for physiotherapy practice in Ireland.

Recognition Granted: If your qualification meets the required standards, CORU will issue a Letter of Recognition.

Period of Adaptation or Aptitude Test: If your qualification differs significantly, CORU may require you to complete a Period of Adaptation (supervised practice in an Irish healthcare setting) or pass an Aptitude Test to demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills.

2. Registration with CORU:

Apply for Registration: Once you receive the Letter of Recognition (or if you qualified within Ireland), you can apply to join the Physiotherapists Register. You will typically be notified by email when you can begin your registration application.

Fees: There are fees associated with both the recognition of international qualifications (€510) and the registration process.
